A gladiator fight between squids and sea creatures. Another development of my squid animations taken to a more physical medium. I'd written and helped storyboard the idea, as well as made props, done much of the physical animation with Dragonframe, and I took the entirety of editing and sound design myself, in Premiere Pro.

Proof of concept for a feature-length detective film, The Messengers of Sekhmet explores how distractions of the modern world bring us to question our own reality, and hardly even notice when the things we fixate on so heavily happen before our eyes. It covers a cult-corrupted town during the COVID-19 crisis with Egyptian and psychedelic undertones and subplots, but the towns first and only weapon against corruption is the awareness of a messy 18-year-old. My work on this extends from writing and directing, to all camera duties, on-set sound recording and, postproduction sound design, foley, and really anything you see or hear. Help from others (credited) was vital, but in about two week's span of a production and post-production window, I had to carry most things out myself, making this a great exercise in work-output.

How different could we possibly be?

Animation created as a part of a documentary on the housing crisis in Oxford, MS. Within the doc, it follows a woman's story of being price-gauged out of the town and having to leave all familiarity behind. - All by myself, using Procreate.

Animation done in Procreate and sound design in Premiere Pro. First part of an animation series pitting squids against birds, primarily to deal with the intricate animation to show their specific movement patterns.
